The slug has captured Princess Caroline!

A Slug has entered the NEC, captured Princess Caroline, and is currently holding her hostage on Stand D21 in Hall 8.

Your mission, should you wish to accept it, is to mount your stead and gallop over to Hall 8, fight through the conglomeration of pods, mega-pods, pod-sofas and bongos that the Slug has surrounded itself with. Battle the Slug to save Princess Caroline and then have a relax in the Botticelli chair while we fetch you a cup of tea!

The Bongos are calling

The sound of the bongos, the fantastic new furniture seating portfolio from tangerinetulips, is enticing you to visit Stand D21 in Hall 8.

Bongo is an innovative new seating design that combines a blank canvas for the designer with an incredibly comfortable seat for the user.

The combination of seat cushion and foam stool, both of which are available in a variety of different co-ordinating shapes, can be upholstered in a multitude of different patterns. Furthermore the seat cushions are manufactured to be reversible which creates further flexibility for the designer.

Tangerine Tulips’ Tables

For the first time at the Furniture Show tangerinetulips will be exhibiting tables, which are designed and manufactured to the company’s high standards of quality and innovation.

The Tandem table is a modern contemporary design that incorporates storage draws that are ideal for magazines and newspapers. This table design is the company’s first venture away from seating.

The frame of the Pod-Table is manufactured from industrial plastic piping and then upholstered to co-ordinate with other pod furniture.

New Brochure

The Furniture Show will be the first opportunity for individuals to pick up the new tangerinetulips brochure.

Designed in-house the brochure features a number of images of pods in peoples houses that capture the variety of chairs that we can manufacture.

Along with the new brochure comes a new shade card where the upholstery options are extended to include 20 shades of leather, 25 shades of micro-suede and 10 shades of velvet.

Furniture Show hailed a success!

After 4 tiring days of exhibiting, tangerinetulips can categorically state that the Furniture Show looks to have been a huge success for the company.

We were located in the new “Collection” section of the show and, due to the reputations of some of our neighbours, setting up the stand was quite daunting, especially with the new products we were showing for the first time – especially as I was making the first ever Bongos on the stand Saturday evening!

Whilst we always find it hard for people to look beyond the pods, due to their striking appearance, the rest of the products on the stand did receive many favourable comments, especially the new Bongo chair and couch, and the Botticelli. We are now in the process of sending out all the information that was requested and chasing up the leads we received.

We would like to take this opportunity to comment on how well organised the show was and our special thanks to Caroline Gourlay of CMP who really looked after us at the show.
